Must have been 1955 or somewhere in the 1950’s. I never left the farm but once to go to Jackson to the Mississippi Power and Light Company on a high school trip until I left for college 8 miles away.
I knew about places and things because we read a lot not having television.
I knew I did not like sun and sand because I do remember becoming blistered on this outing.
