Breakfast: 1 banana

Lunch: cream style corn, 1 tiny slice of corn bread, 3 teaspoons of diced Del Monte Tomatoes

Snack: Stouffers’s steak mushroom cheddar flatbread melt (390 calories) I think this should have been lunch. Green Tea and a slice of pound cake.

No wonder I am not losing.

Dinner: Green Tea, one turkey hotdog, 3 slices of goat cheese…the slices are not like regular slices…very small and four multi grain crackers.

Exercise: walked around the house for about 15 minutes…sciatica nerve on left hand side of buttocks hurts

Breakfast: 3 strawberries with Honey Nut Cheerios. 1 slice of whole grain toast, Nature’s Own with cup of coffee.

Snack: banana with cup of Lactaid milk

Lunch: small bowl of green beans, carrots and potatoes with a small piece of cornbread.

Snack: 2 palms of Honey Nut Cheerios with Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate

Dinner: 1/2 large apple with 4 multi-grain crackers with green tea and honey.

Snack: Triple Berry Torte Yoplait Light

Exercise: walked 30 minutes around the house while on the phone with Clytice

Weight: 151 ? My scale seemed undecided this morning shifting from 151.2 to 151.0…so there you have it.

Breakfast: 3 large strawberries, 1 medium banana, cup of Maxwell House Coffee.

Snack: Special K Bar

Lunch: 1 slice of Nature’s Own Whole Grain Bread with one slice of Applegate Cheddar Cheese from cows not treated with rBGH and about a deck of card chicken with hot banana peppers.

Snack: 2 mandarin oranges from California

Exercise: 1 hour of Tai Chi.

Dinner: Green cut beans, new potatoes, carrot with turkey hot dog and cornbread made with water.

Feel better today after going to Tai Chi. Hope to add 30 minutes of walking when the weather permits.

Weight: 151

Breakfast: 2 strawberries, 1 banana, 1 whole grain mini bagel with pepper cheese, cup of coffee, should say Maxwell House.

To Senior Center to take beginners class in Line Dancing. Found that I did not like the music and had on the wrong shoes to execute the moves but did get a little exercise.

Stopped to get a hair trim at Head Start down here in the Valley.

Lunch: 1 slice of Nature’s Own Whole Grain bread with 1 slice of natural cheddar cheese with turkey hot dog; Green Giant snow peas (4) raw, 5 organic grape tomatoes. Special K bar with a few swallows of Maxwell House Coffee black.

The tomatoes were grown by Jerrold A. Watson & Sons in Monetta, SC.  I did not find them especially good. Perhaps they are supposed to have a tough outer skin.

The whole grain bagel by Pepperidge Farm had 100 calories per bagel. I personally do not like them as much as Thomas’ Brown Sugar Cinnamon mini bagels with 130 calories. I think I will go back to these and add the 30 calories. However, I have to consider with Thomas’ I am eating 1/2 gram more of fat and 0.5 grams of saturated fat as compared to none for Pepperidge Farm and the best part is probably the dietary fiber of Pepperidge Farm is 11% compared to 4% for Pepperidge Farms…gram wise that is 2 grams more.

Went to the RWH to hear Col. John Reitzel speak. He was excellent.

Dinner: Cut green beans, new potatoes, carrots with whole grain crackers. Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate made with water. Special K Bar.

Weight: 150.8 (sigh…I didn’t gain a pound)

Breakfast: 1/2 cup of Cheerios with Lactaid milk, 2 strawberries and 1 banana, 1/2 cup of coffee

Could not finish all the above.

Snack: finished the cereal left over from breakfast.

Lunch: 1/2 whole wheat pita pocket with turkey frank; 4 snow peas, 1 broccoli floret, couple bites of carrot and celery.

Snack: finished carrot

Dinner: chicken, cabbage and butternut squash; Special K Bar for dessert and some Cheerios…

Too much at the end of the day.

Exercise: one hour of Tai Chi

Mailed an important document today to Mississippi. My sister would not approve. I do not plan to tell her. Today I have to exercise.

Breakfast: Cheerios with 2 large strawberries and a banana with lactaid milk, cup of coffee

Lunch: Raspberry Yogurt, Mandarin Orange and dry Cheerios

Snack: 1 slice of all natural cheddar cheese toasted on a whole grain slice of bread, snow peas (3), 3 leaves of romaine lettuce, 1/4 cup of baked apple, and later 1 mini cup cake from my next door neighbor, Joanne

Dinner: 1/2 pita whole wheat with very little chicken toasted with 1 slice of all natural cheddar cheese, 1 serving of pretzels and one turkey hot dog.

Exercise: Walked 10 times round and round my house.

That is really lazy!

Drank ginger ale because I had too much to eat today and my stomach hurts.

Lunch: Lean protein shake, vanilla

Snack: 1 banana, 2 Special K fruit crisp bars (calories 200…from fat 40)

Dinner: 1/2 pita pocket with 1 slice of all natural cheddar cheese, small amount of chicken, snow peas (5) 1 broccoli floret, 1 slice of onion, 5 grape tomatoes, 2 slices of romaine lettuce, 1/4/ orange slice, 1 Special K bar
